What is going on with Covenant...

  • Children and Youth
  • Sunday School for all ages, 9:45 each Sunday
  • Active Youth Fellowships with annual mission trips
  • Children's Choir for elementary aged children
  • Annual "Vacation Bible School with St. Eugene’s Catholic Church" in June 
  • Confirmation classes for middle schoolers
  • “Welcome to the Lord’s Supper” workshops for 2nd graders.
  • Adult Study
  • New Member courses offered quarterly
  • Evening Bible Study, every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
  • Women's Bible Study, second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m.
  • Sunday School for all ages
  • Occasional special studies, like a “Faith and Film” or “Faith and Fiction” Series and “Bible 101”.
  • Fellowship Activities
  • Monthly covered dish dinners
  • A "Prayer Link" of folks committed to pray for the church and community
  • A Senior Care Team assisting elderly in the congregation
  • Presbyterian Women gatherings and projects
  • A “Prayer Shawl” ministry for knitters
  • Men's Breakfast on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 8 a.m.
  • College Student lunches and gatherings
  • Outreach and Mission
  • A 3-tiered outreach to the community through our "Community Angel Projects."
  • Monthly collection of canned foods for local food pantry
  • Sharing in the service of the Wendell Council of Churches
  • AA meets every Wednesday evening at 8:00
  • As needed work trips for disaster relief. The last disaster relief trip was to Gulfport, MS in October 2006.
  • Worship
  • 11:00 worship each Sunday morning
  • Sanctuary Covenant's Choir assists in worship each week, performs two cantatas each year. The Choir also heads out on a tour each fall.
  • Seasonal worship events on Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve and a sunrise service on Easter Morning.
  • An Evensong Service on All Saints Day
  • East Wake Community Chorus concerts
  • Special Announcement…

    Covenant is organizing a trip to the Holy Lands for October 2007. Spaces are open for members and visitors alike. Please consider joining us for this incredible adventure.
